This is an introductory course in Greek art and architecture. No previous experience is required to register for this class. Attendance in class and student discussion will be expected. There will be a midterm exam and a final exam. Both exams will be composed of slide identification, short answer, and essay questions. There will also be a map quiz and a slide quiz. In addition, there will be required a brief research paper (ca. 10-15 pages) which is due December 4.
The grading in the class will be based on the following:
